I love this item! It was super easy to set up, with no screws anywhere. The bad side of that is I can't set up anything fragile on the bookshelf part because it slides back whenever I push the toy box lid out of the way. But all in all a very good buy, at a good price. It keeps all my daughters toys in one place. It's fairly sturdy (besides what I mentioned above), and very safe. I'm so thankful that she can't pinch her fingers in the lid!

Description indicates that the item comes fully assembled, but 2 screws need to be installed to stabilize and there were no holes, so a drill is required.

I purchased two of these storage chests for my daughters. I also had one for my son from [...]. So I searched for the same one in pink for the girls. It is large with lots of storage space.[...] I would definitley recommend this product to anyone.

I was looking for a toy chest that was pink to match my daughters room and this was perfect. The fact that it has a bookshelf was an extra added bonus for me and we love it. It is perfect for what I needed it for and the girls really enjoy having it in their room. This item was available at other locations and the cost to ship it was the same as the cost of the item. CSN Baby had a great price and the shipping was reasonable. That was the selling point for me.

I love this toybox!!! My son who is now 5 still has his toybox (same brand different model) we all love it and the book shelf and top shelf are excellent additions...for the price you can't find a better deal( AND I HAVE TRIED!!!)...I would recommend this product to everyone with little ones!

I love that it is toy chest and bookcase. My daughter is 20 months old and can open the toy chest herself, and reach the shelf for her books. It is great for children her age. No sharp edges, easy cleaning, and no assembly.

I bought the toybox for my 14 month old grandaughter. My dasughter -in -law and I were both pleased. It was similar to the ones she had for her two older girls, but with the books shelves it was a double suprise. My grand daughter climed in as soon as the box was opened, and loves to look inside for her toys. She needed something to keep them pt away in and she also likes to read books, so the shelves are well used. She is small for her age and it was one of the few that had a low front, and a safe lid that can be lifted out of the way with no danger of falling in small hands and heads. The capacity is also adequate for most of her toys. Hopefully it will help her to learn some organization, but for now it's just fun. Of all the toy boxes I looked at it was the best value for the price.

My two daughters put most of their stuffed animals and dozens of books in their storage chest. I couldn't believe how much it holds! Best of all, it doesn't take up lots of space in their bedroom. This was a great find for us. I'm thinking of getting another for our playroom.

this toy chest is wonderful for my 2 year old, she loves to read so the bookshelves are a great bonus on top of the functional use as a toy chest, and the top is great for her lamp and monitor. the only con is that she can climb to the top of it, so i had to move it away from her window, because she ruined the blinds trying to look outside.

This is a wonderful toy box. You don't have to put it together, it comes fully assembled which is very rare nowadays. It's sturdy, has plenty of storage and you don't have to worry about your child's fingers getting smashed when the lid is closed. The lid slides inside the box when open so you can leave open if you want for children too young to open and close box on their own. Would recommend this product.

I liked it immediately. I took it out of the box and set it in my granddaughters room. No assembly required at all. She loves it. She's only 15 mos old but can get in it with no problem at all. It's cute, simple and very durable. I'm glad I bought it.

I love this Lift & Hide Bookcase Storage Chest. Was not sure it looked sturdy even against the wall in the picture. I took a chance and it was the best chance I ever bought and won at. It is sturdy against the wall the lamp on top does not move so I am not afraid it will fall down on my grandaughter and burn her. I love the way we can stack her books and larger toys on the shelf.
The lid has a little hesitancy in it when pulled down or pushed up, but I feel that is to keep it from sliding down onto a child that might be leaning over inside. I have it in my living room right now so I can keep an eye on my grandaughter while she is here instead of the play room so I can get things done. It does not look out of place there because to me it looks better than those long flat toy chest with lids and takes up less room.
As far as what I don't like about it....When I figure it out, I will let you know, so far so GO!
I would recommend this toy chest to my sister, daughter and everybody inbetween. Has my vote.

I love it. I have two. One in pink and one in red. The quality is very sturdy and easy to clean. It's very roomy, you can fit all kinds of toys, big and small. [...] I am one happy camper. Very few stores actually carry this product and their were none in my location. I would have had to travel very far to purchase one. Many retailers carry it but online only and they charge astronomical shipping prices. RIDICULOUS!!! I am so glad I bought this from CSN Baby.

We bought this for my 2-yr old's room and we are very happy with it. I found this product on several sites on the web and this was the best price. I like the combination of a large storage area and some open shelving on the top. The edges are rounded for safety. I also like that the lid will just stay open all the time if you like without fear of it closing on her head or fingers.

I LOVE this toybox! It's safe, sturdy and easy to clean! My daughter loves to crawl inside of it and hide out. The top opens and closes easily, so there's no fear of her getting stuck. It's large and easy to fit into a corner. It holds all of her books on the shelf and all of her toys inside with room enough still for her!

This is our second Step two Toy Box. The other one was bought used and is still going strong. We bought this one cause it was pink for a girl and knowin that it was a sturdy nice piece!!!! You can't go wrong. It has tons of storage space, strong plastic, and easy to clean. You won't be sorry and its a beautiful light pink color. LOVE IT!!!! The price is great for what you will get I promise.
Item came fast and looks cute. It did have a few little marks on it but I think that is due to the material it is made out of. All in all i really like it. It holds a lot and it is low enough where my 1 yr old can reach in and take out what she wants.

I love this toy chest! It holds tons of toys and it's really sturdy - it's tall but stable enough not to topple over. My 2-year-old daughter does need my assistance in opening it and closing it because the door needs a little muscle behind it, but I'd rather have that than have it slamming wildly on toys and/or fingers. I also like the fact there is space between the door and the bottom of the chest in case she manages to pull it shut and/or climbs into it (she's done both).
I bought this for my granddaughter as she was accumulating alot of toys at my house with no where to put them. It is perfect to line her books up on the shelf - she is 16 months old but can easily reach the first shelf - the toy box is deep and holds alot of toys, yet it is light and easy to move around - with the plastic lid I am not worried about her pinching her fingers or having it close on her head. The shape of the storage area discourages her from climbing inside as well. All in all I am extremely pleased with the product.
I think this is an excellent price for this product. I have been looking one for my daughter for her birthday. I have a blue one for my son and I love it
