We love this bed. My toddler is very small for his age, but he can still get in and out of this bed easily and loves his "big boy night night." The only negative comment I would have is that for some reason we didn't get any assembly directions. My husband didn't have any problems, but I know that if I had been the one to assemble it, I would have wanted instructions!!

Looks nice but not sturdy enough
By M's mumVerified Purchaser from Houston, TX on 3/19/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Looks nice, Low to the Ground, Roomy
Cons:
Cracked in a place day 1, Hard to Assemble, Quickly Outgrown, Screws difficult to put, Wood finish not good
Best Uses:
Toddlers
Describe Yourself:
First Time Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The slatting of the bed was not easy to screw into place and the holes on it did not coincide with any holes on the rails of the bed. Also, the assembly instructions were only on a piece of paper with a diagram - no details. Be careful when you put it together, as our's developed a big crack on the leg of the bed the day we assembled it. I was disappointed.

Overall a good purchase

The bed did not come with instructions, so assembly was fairly difficult. Also, the drawer underneath only came with one sliding rail, so it is pretty much unusable. Other than that, it's a good piece of furniture.

[...] Assembly was easier than expected. The bed looks and fits great in my grandson's room and he loves it. It's sturdy and I think will work for him until he' ready for a full-size bed. Very happy with my purchase.

Adorable bed at great price.

Great bed, adorable for a toddler, [...] My only complaint is the drawer under the bed does not fit snuggly and tends to slip off its track. Not a big deal as I only use it for bedding and it looks the same sitting on the ground.

As appearances go, the toddler bed is very nice. However, online the amount of weight that the bed can hold was higher than the weight posted on the box.I don't remember exactly what that was now, but we are very concerned about the bed breaking because of that. How do you keep a couple of kids from jumping on their beds every once in a while? I can't even lightly sit at the edge of the bed without hearing a small cracking sound (I only weigh 115). It's a nice bed and I like it well enough, but if you need something that can take a beating or if you want to be able to lean over and kiss your little one good-night, it's probably worth the money to buy something a little more sturdy.
