No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This hamper would be more practical with a plastic liner. I bought a plastic wastebasket to put inside the cloth hamper and that makes it work just fine. Cost $$ was very steep for the quality ! One wooden dowel was missing so it's wobbly !!
