Use chair for feeding mostly.
Also serves as play area for baby, she loves the toy that fits in the tray.
Great place for baby while cooking dinner.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

There are some great things about this highchair, and some not so good. This is a 2nd highchair I've got. The other one is a Chicco brand.
Good:
- seat bar that's between the legs, is permanent, unlike my Chicco highchair
- the toy that's included is fun
- easy to get the child in & out of the seat
Bad:
- the seatback is kinda skinny
- the traytable latches on semi-easily, but not super easily
- you need to use 2 hands to get the tray on, I like the Chicco tray b/c you only need 1 hand
