    It's a nice sturdy dresser but I thought it came assembled. I didn't want to purchase a dresser that required so much work. That's my fault I neglected to pay attention to that fact.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    The drawers don't come out smoothly enough; the whole unit leans forward when I try to pull one out. There is a larger gap between the 2nd and 3rd drawers than the others, which detracts a lot from the appearance, and this is made worse by the fact that the outward facing side of support N between the 2nd and 3rd drawers is unfinished, so you can see the particle board. Not worth the money I paid.

    For something I researched a lot on and my daughter just had to have it and also 'Needed' a dresser. This is very solid, easy to put together (just make sure you have the right tools). And it has space enough for more than you think once it's put together for personal use (bedroom dresser). I would recommend this to anyone who was considering purchasing this item. I know we love it.

    Piece went together easily. Any problems were easily rectified (screw holes needed to be opened a little prior to final assembly, drawer pull pieces must be inserted with no space). Was able to easily assemble the piece while 9 months pregnant!
