Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
We love that this seat is not too bulky, and that it is actually attractive. The latch system is very easy to use, especially when I need to transfer the seat to another car. (It only works on newer cars though, that are equipped with the hooks in the back seats. Otherwise, just secure using the car's seatbelt.) Careful putting the seat in though as some of the stitching ripped when my husband pressed down on the seat when securing it in the car.
