This bed looked like the perfect bed for my two yr old. After trying it with his crib mattress I soon realized that every night I had to stuff the sides with blankets to stop him rolling from the mattress. So I went ahead and bought a standard mattress which did NOT FIT. Only a 6inch mattress would work NOT ANY TWIN as stated. I am now left with an expensive twin mattress that I can`t return.
I called CSN and asked them to include this info but they have chose not to.....

My kid is sleeping more in the stylish Car Bed. When the bed is used with the toddler mattress please keep in mind that there is a moat so to speak around your kid. When they sleep they can easily roll into the moat which may wake them. We use blankets to fill the gaps. Other than that, it's a great buy.

my son loves the bed never got him to sleep in a actual bed until now he usually slept in the floor on his pillows instead of his toddler bed but now i can go check on him and he's in bed! its great.

This bed was extremely easy to assemble! Looks great in our car themed bedroom and my son loves it! The only con I have found is that it is very heavy and awkward to move. Once I had it put together I had to move it to the other side of the room and it was pretty difficult! We are using it with a toddler mattress right now and it fits perfect.

My son is almost 4 years old. We bought this bed for him with our Christmas money. He absolutely loves it. He even goes up to his room just to play cars on the race track (we still have the crib mattress in it). He took to the bed right away!

This is a great bed for a toddler transitioning from a crib. My son absolutely love this bed. It is comfortable and FUN. The picture and item description are accurate. Set up is fairly simple. The stickers allowed my son to participate in putting his new bed together.

This is everything I expected and more. It is exactly as described. I don't think it was as heavy as described but is very stable & secure. It was a lot of fun to set up with my son. He plays on it and in his room all the time now. It makes a good conversation piece for company too! Really neat and adds life/value to the room!

My son (21 months) made a wonderful transition from his crib to the Car Bed. Crib mattress works great and didn't have to shell out anymore cash for a twin mattress just yet. The plastic tends to be cold at times when i'm lying in the bed with him until he goes to sleep (IMHO). It'll def hold an adult (160lbs.).

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas as he transitions from crib to bed. He loves it and has had no trouble with the transistion. The only problem with this is one should be able to use a crib mattress then later switch to a twin. The crib mattress is to small and my grandson got stuck between the mattress and the bed frame. You can roll up a blanket and stuff it between the mattress and frame or just put a twin mattress in it to begin with. Once we switched to a twin mattress there were no problems.

great bed for my son.
We are so pleased with this bed! It was very easy to put together and looks great! My two-year-old is spending his first night in it right now and loves it! The sides are low enough for him to climb in and out with ease but high enough that he won't be able to fall out. We are using it as a toddler bed with his crib mattress and there is a little room on each side for the comforter to fit when the bed is made which is good. Also there is space all around the mattress on the sides of the bed (a twin size mattress will fill it up) and I was worried my son would end up sleeping on the cold plastic, so I placed his stuffed animals as a border.

My son really loves this bed! We're still using his crib mattress but will switch to a twin one soon (new baby on the way!). He talks about his "car bed" and made it easier to switch him out of a crib.

I love it. My son just adores having a race car for his bed. The only thing I would change on this bed would be the price only because I felt it was a little pricey. Other than that it was great.

My son loves this bed! I do wish that it worked better with the crib mattress, as my son loves the little track at the end. But the crib mattress looks so small in the huge bed. When he rolls over at night, he is off the mattress and on the plastic frame. I had to purchase 2 body pillows to put on the side and 1 to put at the top of the bed so his pillow doesn't slide back into the bed. Once you put a twin mattress in, it fits like it should and is a really comfortable bed. It is also a very large bed, so you have to make sure you have ample room for it. I read the dimensions on the site, and knew we were ok because of the large room it's in. But it is HUGE!!! The price seems excessive for molded and welded plastic. But all the car beds are high priced...I mean it IS just plastic, not gold.

My son loves his bed!!! He was so excited when the bed arrived. He had to help me but the tires on the car. The only thing I didn't realize was the length of the bed.
